If you open premium crates, Plasma Sword is the realistic target for most players.

Legendary Blade is the best-in-slot sword from rare crate rolls. Its drop rate is low, making it a long-term goal for leaderboard players. Do not sacrifice townhall or turret progression to spam crates hunting Legendary Blade early — a stable defense earns more cash for sustained crate sessions later.

A-Tier: Steel Sword

Steel Sword from standard Weapon Crates provides reliable mid-game melee DPS. Most players use Steel Sword from approximately wave 10 through wave 20 while saving for premium crate access. Steel Sword cleanup is sufficient for stragglers when your turret layout covers primary paths adequately.

B-Tier and C-Tier Swords

Iron Sword from Weapon Crates marks the first meaningful upgrade over your starter blade. Worth using until Steel Sword drops, but not worth over-investing in crate spam during early economy. Wooden Sword is your default starter gear — functional for waves 1–5 while turrets carry the load, then replace as soon as Iron or Steel drops.
